Exuberant Dog Toys With Dancing Translucent Crab on S.C. Beach

Tail wagging enthusiastically, this puppy is clearly enamored of a new playmate. Or is it a toy? The dachshund probably didn't seem nearly as cute to this crab on a South Carolina beach as he is to viewers. The sausage-shaped canine seems overjoyed to have found something to chase, in this raw footage from the Associated Press. The crab, dancing atop the sand as if on air, clearly wishes it were somewhere else as it dodges and weaves, the dog never quite catching up. At long last the sea grants the crab's wish. The dance between the two leading up to that moment may have been choreographed by nature, but it looks like something straight out of a video game.
