Taku River Tlingit First Nation
Taku River Tlingit First Nation will will work in partnership with mining companies and other businesses to create sustainable development and jobs while guarding a major salmon run and caribou habitat.
The Taku River Tlingit First Nation has inhabited much of northwestern British Columbia, and parts of Alaska and the Northwest Territories for thousands of years. They recently signed a historic agreement with the provincial government that safeguards major salmon runs and caribou habitat but allows for responsible, sustainable, environmental development in tandem with industry.
