Border Patrol agents rescued six apparent illegal entrants and sought three others missing in an Arizona desert. Meanwhile, they also found one man's body. Agency spokesman Rob Daniels said agents on horseback patrolling a fence line east of the San Pedro River near Arizona 90 found the dead man April 28 when they saw a jacket on a bush. The Hispanic man died of apparent exposure and dehydration, probably within a day of when his body was found, Daniels said. The Cochise County medical examiner was to determine time and cause of death. Daniels said sheriff's deputies found personal belongings scattered about the area but no identification. Earlier, agents began a search on the Tohono O'odham Reservation west of Tucson after tribal police reported they were holding three suspected illegal immigrants. The men told agents there were nine others who had been without water for two days. With the help of an airplane and helicopter, six were found. They said there were three others but couldn't provide a location. Border Patrol records show 25 people have died while entering Arizona illegally during this fiscal year, which began Oct. 1. Six of the deaths were attributed to heat exposure and two to hypothermia. Many of the other deaths were a result of vehicle accidents.
