Ajuawak Kapashesit

Actor and emerging filmmaker Ajuawak Kapashesit is working on his latest short film, the "Language Keepers" documentary, for release in 2023. He was born and raised on the White Earth Ojibwe Nation and is of Ashinaabe, Cree and Jewish descent. He has also wrote directed "Seeds," (2022), with Morningstar Angeline, and "Carrying the Fire," (2021) and has acted in "Indian Horse” (2017), “Once Upon a River” (2019) and “Indian Road Trip” (2020), and in the “Bad Blood” and “Outlander” series.
