Filmmakers Sandra and Yasu Osawa will present their film “myaamiaki eemamwiciki: Miami Awakening” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 in the Miami University Art Museum. According to Art Museum director Robert Wicks, the film explores language and culture revitalization by the Miami Tribe and focuses on the efforts of a small non-reservation community in northeast Oklahoma.
