The Meskwaki will receive $10,800 of more than $4 million the Environmental Protection Agency awarded to 10 Iowa communities. ‘The money that these communities are receiving will help in a variety of ways,’ Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, said in making the announcement. ‘From the clean-up and redevelopment of brownfield areas to the development of training programs, all are vital to improving the quality of life in Iowa.’
