Construction of a new administration facility for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians began Monday here in Cass County. Ground was broken on a $5 million, 19,000-square-foot tribal administration building, which will be used to house 50 people involved with coordinating housing, education, health and other services for the more than 4,000 members of the Pokagon tribe.
