According to Deseret News, what could be Native American remains were discovered November 7 while workers dug out a water main.

“We said, ‘We better get out of the trench and call police,’” Don Selby, owner of Dependable Plumbing, told Deseret News. “It’s kind of a new experience for us. It was a little bit eerie, wasn’t sure if something went awry.”

Officials from the Utah Division of State History uncovered a full human skeleton they said is about 1,000 years old and could be that of a Fremont Indian.
