He may have survived the most recent attempt to recall him from office, but now Curtis Cesspooch, the former chairman of the Northern Ute Indian Tribe Business Committee, is facing a new challenge. Cesspooch’s opponents are now seeking to strip him of his tribal affiliation. A motion filed before Judge Randy A. Doucet of the Northwest Coast Intertribal Court System in Bellingham, Wash., specifically requests that Cesspooch be banished from the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation.
