New Snoqualmie chairwoman wants to heal tribe’s rifts

With the help of an outside consultant, the Snoqualmie people elected a new chairwoman who says she wants to heal this embattled tribe. The general membership held an election Monday to supersede earlier elections later invalidated by the Snoqualmie tribal court.
