The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development is currently seeking qualified and motivated employees for their offices located in various locations. Current openings include:
PTAC Program Manager-Various Locations:
Primary Function: Under the direction of the Acting President/CEO the qualified individual will plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the PTAC Project assigned. The program manager will supervise and direct the full-time and part-time staff of the program. The program manager will assure that staff complies with Defense Logistics Agency contractual agreements and program procedures. In addition the program manager will prepare budget revisions and financial reports and will serve as primary interface with small business/economic development providers, agency and other local sponsors in matters related to the Project.
Accountability: The Project Manager is accountable to the Acting President/CEO and has authority to accomplish all project tasks.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Operations Management or related field. Three years of contracting experience and a minimum of two years managing others. Procurement and contracting experience at the federal level is highly preferred. Prior experience working with Native American Communities is also preferred.

Procurement Specialist-Various Locations:
Primary Function: Identify potential bid processes where Indian businesses can market their products and services to the defense industry. Provide market resource and contract procurement assistance and information. Coordinate efforts with federal agencies. Work specifically with Procurement Contract Representatives (PCRs) and Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization Specialists (SADBUS) of the federal government and Small Business Liaison Officers (SBLO) of Prime Contractor Companies and facilities.
Accountability: The Procurement Specialist is accountable to the Program Manager.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Operations Management or related field. Have two years governmental contract administration or management experience and/or contracts procurement and technical assistance background and training. Prior experience working with Native Americans is also preferred.
