Legislation exposing divided feelings among Tennessee’s Native American Indian groups is before state lawmakers with a couple of heavy political hitters behind it. The legislation’s main sponsors are two of the state’s most powerful lawmakers — House Majority Leader Jason Mumpower and Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey.
