The Seminole Nation of Oklahoma elected Leonard Harjo as its new principal chief and Ella Colman the new assistant chief during its recent elections. The election went into a run-off between Harjo and Terry Spencer, with Harjo winning by a 60-percent margin. Colman won the run-off between herself and Cynthia Yerby.
