The U.S. Senate approved millions of dollars for defense projects in Montana and sent the measure to a conference committee Tuesday night to reconcile it with a similar bill passed by the House of Representatives. Montana is due to receive about $70 million from the Defense Appropriations Act, which passed the Senate with a vote of 93-7.
