A missing footstone from the burial site of one of the last Wampanoag tribal members to live in Lakeville has been found, solving part of a mystery that has bedeviled police and local historians for more than six months. Lakeville Police Officer James Bowles, who has been investigating the missing burial marker since October, recovered the stone Friday.
