For 12 years, the Tri-State Shooting Recreation Center, Inc. has been trying to secure a site for a shooting range. The Bureau of Land Management has identified several hundred acres of public land on Boundary Cone Road that it would turn over to the Arizona Department of Game and Fish for a shooting range.
