Don Sampson is resigning after seven years as executive director for the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. His resignation is effective Friday. Under Sampson, the tribes established a community school, expanded the Wildhorse Resort & Casino, remodeled the Arrowhead Travel Plaza and developed Cayuse Technologies and the Coyote Business Park.
