Casino proponents want lawmakers to expand Texas gambling laws, so the state can lure convention-goers and tourists to casino resorts, but others say the costs far outweigh the benefits. The House Licensing and Administration Committee placed all House bills about gambling and gaming on the agenda Wednesday to try to hammer out a plan to move forward, but some say when it comes to gambling, lawmakers should fold.
