The American Indian College Fund recently honored 34 American Indian students attending tribal colleges as students of the year on March 19 at the 2017 Student of the Year and Coca Cola Award Banquet in Rapid City, South Dakota. The even was held in conjunction with the American Indian Higher Education Consortium Spring Student Conference.
The following students were named American Indian students of the year for 2016-17 by their tribal colleges and the American Indian College Fund. Each American Indian student also received a $1,200 scholarship from the Adolph Coors Foundation.
