I just have read your article, ”Sacred Site for Sale,” by Stephanie Woodard [Vol. 26 Issue 51]. I cannot imagine that in Europe we would treat old monuments like this, particularly if they were of religious importance. I had no clue that there were still such offenses against Native people in the United States, and I think other Europeans would want to become more aware as well. If many people open their hearts a little, at least some hope can survive. Of course, concrete points have to be worked out as well.
