The Tohono O’odham Nation is demanding that Glendale prove its claims that tribally owned land within its borders is not suitable for a resort and casino. The tribe filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Maricopa County Superior Court, asking for “prompt review of the city’s recent attempt to revive a long-dead annexation of the Nation’s property.”
