Olive Oshiro, disenrolled Nooksack citizen, died at 88 before the four-year legal battle with Nooksack Indian Tribe to keep her home of over two decades was over. Nooksack ordered her family’s eviction by April 1 but she may have owned her home in 2020 if there was proper oversight by the state Housing Finance Commission.
