Raphael Decoteau, former tribal chairman, is one of two remaining candidates for the position in the tribe’s general election. Decoteau and Richard Monette garnered the most votes during a primary election on the reservation at the end of last month. They will compete against each other in the Nov. 7 election. Current Tribal Chairman Richard “e;Jiggers”e; LaFromboise is not seeking re-election.
