Four people put their names on the list to succeed Rick Hill as chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association during its national meeting which began April 8 in Albuquerque.

Announced candidates are: Ernie Stevens, Oneida, Wis., now with the National Congress of American Indians; Apesanakwat, chairman of the Menominee Nation in Wisconsin; Tracy Burriss, Oklahoma Chickasaw, and Mark Fox, treasurer for the Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota.
