On this week’s political segment, we meet Michael Stopp, Cherokee, who has worked as chief of staff for then U.S. Rep. Markwayne Mullin, screened candidates for senior positions in the Trump administration and helped to organize Native Americans for Trump.

He talks about Republican frontrunner and former President Donald Trump who leads the dwindling pack by a huge margin. Trump won both the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary. Nikki Haley made gains in New Hampshire. Shockingly, incumbent President Joe Biden won in New Hampshire as a write-in candidate.

Next week, Holly Cook Macarro will talk about President Joe Biden and his recent messaging on access to abortion as well as what executive orders that benefit Indigenous communities could be in jeopardy if Trump is elected.
