Thousands will gather across Turtle Island to watch United States President Joe Biden give a direct and long-awaited apology to Indigenous peoples for government-run boarding schools.
Biden will give his apology from the homelands of the Gila River Indian Community, his first presidential visit to tribal lands, with hundreds of Native people present.
His speech starts at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time / 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
