The Umatilla Tribal Police Department (UTPD) is seeking help from the public in the search for 71-year-old Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla elder, Wesley Dixon Jones, who has been missing since Oct. 5, 2025.

“The UTPD is requesting video camera footage from anyone who has road-facing cameras and lives anywhere from Short Mile Road east to Cayuse Road, including River Road, or from Cayuse Road east to Bingham Road on the Umatilla Indian Reservation,” Detective William Morris, of the UTPD, said in a statement released earlier today.

According to the statement, the UTPD has already canvassed these areas, but they are still requesting for anyone with video footage from the areas above to upload it here, or by scanning the UTPD generated QR code.
