A recent $25 million gift to the University of Washington School of Medicine Student Education Program will create the Franke Medical Student Scholars Program to provide scholarships, recruitment, and student support for medical students who demonstrate a commitment to serving Indigenous and rural communities across the school’s five-state service region.
